Dr. Cassandra Weiss is the Enrollment Specialist/Assistant Professor of Education at William Carey University. She is currently teaching graduate courses in the Education Department and Music Education Department as well as working with Alternate Route Enrollment and Licensure. Her service to education began in 2001 as a band director and choir director. She has over 20 years experience in K-12. Dr. Weiss is also the Minister of Music at Purvis United Methodist Church. She is married to Steven Weiss and they have four teenagers, Cody, Kyle, Kara and Landon. Dr. Weiss was the recipient of the 2020 AIM Award (Arts Institute of MS).
