Students who have already earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field may seek admission to the Interscholastic Athletic Administration program to earn the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree. Completion of this degree qualifies students to teach at a university or community college level.

This program is 39 hours, including 33 hours in the IAA curriculum, 2 additional courses in the Education Specialist curriculum, and a minimum of 18 hours of PED coursework. This qualifies a student earning this degree to teach at a university or community college level.

Classes are delivered fin both hybrid and online formats, making this program ideal for full-time working educators.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective students must:
Complete an online application & pay application fee
Submit all official transcripts electronically to Graduate Admissions
Hold a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.25+
Hold or qualify to hold a Class A teacher’s license or complete waiver of licensure form
Provide two references from past or current supervisors
NOTE: Students that hold a master’s degree in Interscholastic Athletic Administration from William Carey University may not apply for the specialist in Interscholastic Athletic Administration
